Chris Dove Occupational Therapy provides assessment, intervention and evaluation services for children aged 3 – 18 years.

We identify each child’s strengths and recognise the importance of making learning and development fun. We strive to empower each child to develop the skills important to them in the areas of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial well-being.

If your child is experiencing difficulties in any of the below, an individualised therapy program may be of benefit.

  • fine motor skills
  • gross motor skills
  • visual perceptual skills
  • handwriting
  • sensory motor (the impact of sensory skills on motor output)
  • attention and concentration
  • self-esteem and confidence
  • executive functioning skills: life skills, time management, daily routines, study plans, self organisation & self planning in the home and or classroom

Following comprehensive assessment, a therapy program is developed to address the identified areas of need. A client-centred approach incorporates close liaison with parents, teachers and allied health professionals. Depending on your child’s needs, a group or paired program may be recommended.
